Another Journey to a Cure Has Begun with The Love of My Life "John" thru Prostate Cancer

I am reaching out to everyone for your prayers, your good luck charms, your love whatever you have to offer John thru this Journey he is about to begin. For at least 6 weeks we have researched and discussed our options and thru the luck of John and his research he found the Florida Proton Therapy Institute for Prostate Cancer. ​

What is that? Most people do not know but it is an approved treatment for many types of cancer.

"Proton therapy is an advanced form of radiation therapy that uses protons rather than traditional X-rays. It targets tumors and cancer cells more precisely. This means less damage to surrounding tissue which results in a lower risk of side effects and a BETTER QUALITY OF LIFE DURING AND AFTER cancer treatment."

With a diagnosis of Prostate Cancer the options that most offer do NOT preserve the quality of Life that a man really needs. (We will share more later on another day on this)

Thankfully he was accepted for Phase I which is tomorrow morning. This will tell us whether he is a candidate for this Treatment. We have already been told that it is likely he is by the Florida Proton Therapy Center or they would not have asked him to come up.

So please keep him in your prayers tonight that he will be accepted. If he is, we will go back for 3-4 days of tests around the 4th of July...come back home for about 2 weeks then head back for 6 weeks of treatment. He will be discharged and have no symptoms that a normal treatment does to a man. His quality of Life and that he lives is the most important thing of all and we can do both with this treatment.

We have to find a place to live in Jacksonville for 6 weeks - tonight the place they said was the best is NOT and in a neighborhood that is not too safe and will not do.....but it will do for one night. So if anyone knows of rentals for 6 weeks in Jacksonville middle of July - August please let us know.
